13 Months - almost there

Still have the brown tips.  Will be getting a haircut in the next few weeks so that should take off about an inch of them.  Really won't be able to tell what it looks like until all the dye is gone but I am really please with how it looks now and am so happy that I decided to do this.  There are some days where it seems that it is taking forever, those are the days that I just put my hair up and go about my business.

12 Months

So after the last hair cut it seems that I have 2 more inches of dyed hair left - so approx. 4 more months.  Looking forward to that.  Looking into conditioners for silver hair to bring out the shine and keep away any yellowing.  I am using the following shampoo twice a month which is working really well - Klorane.  And I am still doing the coconut oil treatment a few times a month as well.  Can't believe that it has been a year since my last hair dye - it does go quickly looking back.

11 Months

You're not going to see much difference between this month and last since I have not gone for a haircut yet.  Hopefully will get to that in the next few weeks.  I am only conditioning the ends of my hair since they are very dry and I am finding that if I do my whole head, it weighs the hair down.  Maybe just need to find a different conditioner.  Have not taken a picture of the back yet.  Will do that next month when I hit the one year mark,  It will take me that long to get a good one.

10 Months

It seems to be going slowly.  The last haircut did not get rid of all of the dyed ends in the front as you can see, but then again I didn't want too much cut off.  It looks like my silver is coming in very salt and pepper which is cool.  My hair stylists figures another 6 months, but we'll see.

9 Months now

I think the next haircut should get rid of the dyed ends on the bangs so at least the hair around my face will be silver which I am looking forward to.

8 months - just got my hair cut

Still not that different.  I think  the crown will take a other few months to be totally done.  And the rest of the hair probably another 8-10 months.  And I am still liking it.  Not putting any product in it now and my hair seems to respond a lot better.  When I am out and about no one is really saying anything.  I had one person say that it looks great and that she tried to go silver a while  back and thought she looked too washed out so went back to coloring.  I think people just don't know what to say.

7 Months - still looking the same to me

I think I have gotten to the stage that many people have talked about, where it doesn't look like anything is happening or changing.  I think I may have to wait until my next haircut to see the progress.  From the front you can't really tell what is going on, but when I lift up the hair or you look at the top, then you can see the progress.
The dark dyed ends are starting to get dry so I have been doing more of the coconut treatments which has been helping.
